  • 100 eye-catching designs from over 80 designers that use a wide range of techniques, including traditional patchwork, applique, foundation paper piecing, and embroidery
  • A number of the 6-inch blocks are shown in two colorways for twice the creativity
  • Be inspired by gallery quilts featuring carefully selected placement options for your Splendid Sampler blocks
  • Bonus blocks projects are not included in the book and can be found here.

Cheryl says, “It’s always important to remember that everyone was a beginner once. Especially in this social media world where it can be overwhelming with inspiration. Focus on making, daily if you can, and the rest will follow. You only get better by doing. That’s how we all do it.”

Quilter, writer, designer, teacher. Oh, and that Mom/Wife thing too. Prairie girl born and raised, but lucky enough to now live at the intersection of Prairies and Mountains in Calgary, Alberta.
I’ve been quilting for over 18 years now! With three books published – Sunday Morning Quilts (with Amanda Jean Nyberg), A Month of Sundays, and You Inspire Me To Quilt – I have an excellent start on a publishing career. I adore writing and this year hope to make significant headway on a novel and get my children’s books picked up.
My first fabric collection – Tag – recently launched with Connecting Threads. That was an amazing creative challenge!
Teaching remains one of my favourite things to do. Whether in person or online (look for my own video classes launching soon, but catch me on Craftsy and CreativeLive for now) it is the biggest thrill to see quilters unlock their creative potential.  There is still time to enjoy and celebrate the Big Quilt Bee as Canada marks our 150th birthday as a country this year. Taking the slab block from Sunday Morning Quilts, guilds and quilters across the country are working to make 1000 charity quilts. Should be quite the birthday!
