I love pineapples. I live in the sunshine state and we have the ‘Big Pineapple‘ and fields of golden, juicy pineapples ready to be used in drinks and food. We aussies, love pineapple on our pizzas and burgers and even have been known to toss them on the BBQ.
The pineapple is a symbol of hospitality and has appeared in art and architecture over the centuries. Recently, it has made a comeback in fabric and quilting patterns and I am living my best quilting life when I collect pieces of pineapple fabrics for my stash.
