Katja says: My closing message on emails and what I write when I autograph a book: Discover the ‘Hex’-abilities!
Katja is the owner of a delightful quilt shop in Kamloops, Canada. Passionate about hexagons ( a hex-a-culturalist like me ), Katja has written books, made gorgeous EPP quilts and projects and designed quilt-a-long programmes for her favourite 6 sided shape. The stunning New Hexagon Millefiore quilt (pictured below) is one of my favourites.
Visit Katja’s site and Splendid Sampler page for Katja’s post about Bee Happy and all the exciting new projects coming soon.
Make 52 – 6″ paper pieced hexagons in ‘The New Hexagon’ book by Katja. Book includes seven fun projects including a mug rug, candle mat, table topper, table runner, bed-sized quilt, and more. Buy book here and buy perpetual calendar with 365 – 6″ blocks and an extra for leap year.
